The planar rotary screen is an efficient fine screening equipment. Its screen box performs a smooth circular rotary motion in the horizontal plane. Materials are evenly distributed on the screen surface and effectively separated into particles of different sizes through a compound spiral trajectory. This equipment features high screening accuracy, large processing capacity, low energy consumption and is not prone to clogging the screen. It is widely used in the particle classification treatment in industries such as chemical engineering, food, and metallurgy.
Working principle
The core working principle of the planar cyclone sieve is the unique planar rotation motion. Its driving device drives the sieve box to perform a smooth, approximately circular trajectory movement within the horizontal plane.
Motion trajectory: The material does not perform vertical projection on the sieve surface. Instead, it is influenced by this low-acceleration planar rotational motion, resulting in a gentle spiral diffusion movement. Fine particles have the opportunity to quickly come into contact with the sieve surface and pass through it.
Layering and sieving: The materials at the feed inlet are uniformly distributed across the entire sieve surface under the rotary motion. The finer particles, under the combined action of centrifugal force, friction force and gravity, pass through the sieve holes and become the undersize material.
Discharging process: The coarser particles that failed to pass through the screen are guided by the circular motion and flow along the screen surface towards the peripheral discharge ports, completing the screening process.
